Yes. Drop off your own items at our Winnipeg workshop and we'll assess the surface first. UV printing works on flat and slightly curved surfaces — most metals, wood, glass, plastic, leather and acrylic are fine. We'll tell you before starting if a material isn't suitable.
UV-cured ink bonds directly to the surface and resists scratching, fading, and water for years under normal use. It's suitable for everyday items like drinkware, keychains, and office supplies. For items exposed to extreme conditions (dishwashing, outdoor UV) we can recommend additional protective coatings.
Yes — our UV printer supports white ink, which allows full-colour printing on dark and coloured surfaces. This is a big advantage over traditional digital printers that can only print on white/light backgrounds. Metallic ink effects are also available for premium projects.
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF, SVG) are ideal for logos and text because they scale without losing quality. For photos or complex artwork, send the highest resolution possible (300 DPI+ at print size). If you only have a low-res logo we can help recreate it or upscale.
